Bio:
Nelson Julio Álvarez Mairata, an activist for the LGBTIQ+ community rights, and Cuban communicator with experience in audiovisuals, podcast and multimedia reporting. He has worked with the independent media sources Tremenda Nota and ADN Cuba since 2018, first as a YouTuber and currently as a reporter. He directs the blog Residente, created in May 2020.
