Synopsis:

The democratization process constitutes the second phase of a political transition. To reflect on the characteristics of these sociopolitical cycles, Dr. Carlos Vidal Prado will join us in our meeting today.


Biography:

Professor of Constitutional Law at UNED. Professor of the Doctorate at the University of Verona since June 2009. Professor of the Master's Degree in Constitutional Law and CC. CEPC policy since 2018. Has been: Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Navarra. Visiting or Guest Professor at the University of Cologne and Göttingen (Germany), Verona and Siena, Gabriel René Moreno Autonomous University (Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia). Executive Director of the Political Law Magazine. Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Corresponding academic of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation of Spain.

He has carried out research at the Istituto di Diritto Pubblico, of the University of Rome "La Sapienza", at the Italian Constitutional Court, at the Universities of Siena and Verona at the Institut für Deutsches und Europäisches Wissenschaftsrecht (University of Cologne), at the Chair of Public Law at the University of Göttingen, at the Chair of Public Law at the University of Regensburg and, at the Institut für Energierecht, of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bochum.
