    Synopsis:

    The Cuban historian Katia Figueredo will accompany us in our meeting today. This broadcast will address the characteristic elements of absolute monarchies.


    Bio:

    Graduate in History, Master in Contemporary History and International Relations and Doctor in Historical Sciences from the University of Havana. Figueredo completed the Master's Degree in European Studies at the University of Valladolid and read his second doctoral thesis at the University of Salamanca. He currently holds a Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. His research focuses on the analysis of the Cuban sociopolitical context (1940-1970) and its connections with the Franco regime.
