In this meeting, the Spanish researcher Aitor Díaz Maroto will introduce us to the characteristic features of totalitarianisms of fascist and national socialist origin.


Bio:

Historian from the University of Alcalá and Doctor in Latin America and the European Union in the international context from the IELAT and the UAH. Currently, Margarita Salas postdoctoral researcher at the University of Alcalá and carries out her work at the URJC Santander Presdeia Chair, directed by Professor José Manuel Azcona Pastor.

Specialized in current history, the relationship between cinema and history, political violence and armed conflicts in Europe and Latin America and, currently, exploring a new line of research on political polarization
