    Synopsis:

    A conversation with the activist and consultant Thais Pujol, the daughter of José Luis Pujol, the founder of Criterio Alternativo. Thais shares her experience as the daughter of a Cuban dissident, her father's attempts to organize a political opposition movement, the tensions and conflicts within groups of dissidents, as well as the secret meetings, the surveillance they were subjected to, and the abuse they faced from the Cuban government.

    Bio:

    Thais Pujol is the daughter of José Luis Pujol. She is the creator of the Intelligo program, and for the last 25 years has worked as a consultant in advanced learning systems, speed reading, information management, thought optimization, communication and teacher training in the public and private sectors. She also works with families who want to improve their children's learning abilities and with those training for civil service exams.

    In the public sector she has worked with the schools of Castilla y León (ECLAP), Castilla- La Mancha (EAR), Cantabria (CEARC), La Rioja (ERAP), Comunidad de Madrid (IMAP), and Andalucía (IAAP). Additionally, she has given trainings at different government ministries in Spain, including the Ministerio de Trabajo y Asuntos Sociales, the Ministerio de Economía y Hacienda and the Ministerio de Educación. She collaborates with the Patrimonio Nacional training programs and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía. She has given courses at the Consejo de Cuentas de Castilla y León, ECYL, INEM and at continuing education academies for teachers, among other institutions. She has worked with private companies such as Michelin in Spain and Portugal and IVECO, Enusa and Execyl.

    She has taught executives, middle management, functionaries and staff of all levels in the framework of the Programa Integral para el Desarrollo de Capacidades Intelectuales that teaches speed reading, efficient thinking, conceptual thinking, transversal skills, non-verbal communication, non-verbal communication for negotiation, data management, structural reading, advanced learning methodologies, essential memory techniques, relational intelligence, time management and organization for meetings, among other skills. She has taught continuing education courses in Advanced Teaching and Learning Methodology and Professional Development in Pedagogy, both in the public and private sector as well as for civil service exam academies and high schools. She has created online courses in collaboration with Universidad Isabel I de Castilla (Memory Techniques, Efficient Thought), as well as independently (Non-Verbal Communication). She has developed a program for the application of thinking techniques in the creation of high-impact projects within a company (IVECO).

    Since 1997, she has given conferences on learning at a variety of high schools and institutes in Castilla y León and the Comunidad de Madrid, as well as at civil service exam academies. She also gives videoconferences for Spain and Latin America, directed towards civil service exam students and methodological coaching over Skype to families with students of all levels. She has developed her own methodology that adapts to individual learning combinations, both for theoretical and practical subjects and for language learning and has developed special programs for civil service exams designed to help assimilate large volumes of complex information, in particular legislative textbooks.
