    Synopsis:

    Conversation with Enrique García, former Cuban official of the General Direction of Intelligence, who in 1989 in Quito, Ecuador, deserted and went into exile in the United States, with the support of the CIA. Since then, Enrique has dedicated himself to dismantling the Cuban security apparatus, denouncing and warning about espionage and penetration. On this occasion, Enrique shared about the history of the Cuban intelligence service: the Liberation Department, later the Americas Department, under the command of Manuel Piñeiro, the DGI and counterintelligence. For 11 years, Enrique worked as a civil servant in 7 Latin American countries. He shares anecdotes about the operations he carried out in those countries. Enrique also revealed data on the penetration of Cuban intelligence in organizations such as the UN. He also offered information on the segments of Cuban society controlled by Cuban counterintelligence.
