Katherine T. Gavilán
(Palma Soriano, Santiago de Cuba, 1988)

Katherine T. Gavilán is an actress, voice coach and audiovisual producer. She graduated with honors from the Higher Institute of Art in the specialty of Acting, and obtained a Master of Arts from the same institute. In 2015 she created the Proyecto Voces Itinerantes (Itinerant Voices Project). In 2016 she collaborated as a screenwriter and leading actress in the short film Paco y Lucía, by Francisco Castro Carracedo. She had her debut in filmmaking with the documentary feature film Brouwer: el origen de la sombra (Brouwer: The Origin of the Shadow, 2019), co-directed with Lisandra López Fabé.

He reveals a thoughtful outlook on life, which is, in its infinite evolution, creation itself.
