    A humanoid character made up of cubes lives on a small cubic planet that, devoid of relief or any visual texture, floats in the middle of nowhere. Oppressed by the limitations of his environment, he lives conflicted by routine and isolation. One day, by accident, he discovers the circle. This is how his vision changes, and consequently his world. He thus begins a process of transformations, full of iterations, unveilings, and new forms for him.

    Carlos Manuel Paiffer Iglesia

    Carlos Manuel Paiffer Iglesia is a graduate of the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts in Digital Art, he also studied at the Higher Institute of Design. He participated in the creation of the television program "El Hangar" for the Educational Channel of Cuban Television. He was responsible for the modeling and texturing of many of the characters in the Cuban animated feature film Meñique. He has directed advertising videos for campaigns of the Ministry of Tourism. He is the director of the animated short Ripple and co-producer of the presentation design in the Cuban telenovelas “Zoológico” (2016) and “En tiempo de amar” (2017). He works as a Visual Effects Artist collaborating in the post production (Editing, Color Correction, Effects and Shaping) of various audiovisual materials with artists and groups such as Pablo Milanés, Juan Formell y los Van Van, Descemer Bueno, Haydee Milanés, Eliades Ochoa and Silvio Rodríguez, among others. He has collaborated with directors such as Fernando Pérez, Yimit Ramírez, Alejandro Gutiérrez, Marcel Beltrán, Alfredo Ureta, Omar Leyva, among others. He is currently working on his second animated short.
