  • SYNOPSIS



    Marcel (40) inhabits a reality where women choose to live bent over for the benefit of men. His encounter with a woman incites him to want to pick up his wife and, henceforth, have a different life. However, she objects and Marcel assaults her.

    Pilar Natalí Cardet Ricardo
    (Holguín, Cuba. 1991)

    Pilar Natalí Cardet Ricardo is a graduate of the Higher Institute of Design (ISDi) specializing in Graphic Design (2009-2014). Her work as a designer includes illustrations for independent digital newspapers, advertising and public good campaigns for various companies and NGOs. She participated in the Talentos Guadalajara Film Festival in 2019 as a Screenwriter. She is currently in her last year of studies at the San Antonio de los Baños International Film and Television School (EICTV) specializing in Screenwriting. She is working on the pre-production stage of her first fiction short film as director and screenwriter, New Eva, after having won the GoCuba International Film Fund!

Invited to the Production Designers Collective's meetup at the Sundance Film Festival, official selection of the Midnight Shorts program, 2019.
