Marcela Esquivel Jiménez is a film producer and social anthropologist who stands out among the new generation of Latin American filmmakers. She founded Feria Producciones, to manage an efficient and organic structure that makes projects of filmmakers in Latin America financially viable. His productions have won awards for best film, direction, production, photography, acting, screenplay, audience award, and special mentions in the main international film venues, such as the Berlinale Talent Pitch Award, Rotterdam Lab, Ibermedia, Cartagena, Guadalajara, EAVE Puentes, La Fabrique du Cinéma du Monde, Cannes, San Sebastián Co-production Forum, Global Film Awards (Sundance), Nuevas Miradas, among others.
